Most definately, Anton! It's one of the most talked about bits to this day. We are all still wanting to know...did it taste like chicken? HA! Here's another....It from my viewer mail letter on the NBC Show. (November 6, 1987) I'm bringing it up because the band did a whole bit around it.  "Dear Dave, What are you leaving Paul and the band in your will? The band's #1 fan for life, Marsha Moore, Portage, Indiana."  Paul asks Dave for the classic crying clown painting in Dave's dressing room.  Sid asks Dave for the classic antique microphone that he said all the 'funny stuff' into.  Will requests the photo of Dave and Gerald Ford shaking hands, which is 'up in the office'.  Anton asks for all of Dave's cash and real-estate holdings.  Paul jumps in saying "hold it, hold it!" and tells Dave "I've been with you three times longer than Anton has." and goes into this speech how he was just buttering up Dave to get his share of the jackpot. The bit ends with Paul saying 'bite me' to Dave. | ||
